Homemade Hummus Dip

  • 2 12-oz cans of chickpeas
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Water, as needed
  • 1 tsp kosher salt


Drain chickpeas and rinse. Combine chickpeas, lemon juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, tahini, and garlic powder in a food processor and blend. Thin with water if needed. Add salt to taste.
